Winter News

ADVENT SEASON
We return to Imagine Art for our regular gathering this coming Sunday morning. Austin Evers will be speaking on peace for our 2nd Sunday in Advent.

PARTNER MEETING
Following this Sunday's service, we will be holding our re-scheduled Partner Meeting to discuss all things Church At East. We hope you all can join us!

FLOWER PICKUP
We still need volunteers to pick up flowers on Sunday mornings at the Whole Foods downtown on North Lamar.  Blackland normally picks up the flowers during the week, but we offered to help them on the weekends.  All that is required is a car to transport the flowers, willingness to wake up early on a Sunday, and ability to drop them off at church or a local rehab hospital.  Please contact Meg Garner meg.garner@gmail.com if you or your restore group is interested in volunteering one Sunday per month.

OUR PEOPLE ON MISSION BLOG
http://www.churchateast.com/our-people-on-mission
We've started a new blog on our website that highlights what the people of East do to serve others on their own time. We started this so you can learn more about each other more as well as pray for each other as we continue to grow as a missionalchurch. If you know of someone's story you feel should be told, or if you have been serving others and you would simply like to share your story or the group you serve with, please reach out. We would love to know! Please email churchateast@gmail.com
